Oct 22, 2023PelHeat Now Offer Small UK Made Premium Pellet Mills and Automated Plants for Processing Wood, Biomass and Animal Feeds into Pellets
Internals of the PelHeat Mini Pellet Mill
(PRWEB UK) 22 May 2012
PelHeat specialise in promoting UK manufactured small scale pellet production solutions for the production of fuel and feed pellets from a range of materials. PelHeat offer high quality pellet presses made in Great Britain for research institutions and small businesses to process organic wastes and various biomass materials into pellets.
To meet the needs of universities, research institutions and small businesses PelHeat.com have decided to focus on offering premium quality pellet machines and automated pellet plants. Due to issues such as global warming and high oil prices there has been significant demand for alternative fuels such as wood pellets. The majority of small pellet presses on the market today are imported from the Far East. PelHeat have chosen to exclusively promote products made in Great Britain. These products replicate the designs of the equipment used in large scale professional pellet plants at a fraction of the cost.
"We believe that the market needs more high quality small pellet mills and pellet plants. Products such as the Mini Pellet Mill are truly unique," said Chris Scott, owner of PelHeat.com.
The Mini Pellet Mill is one of the smallest ring die pellet presses in the world. It has been designed to run from a single phase domestic power supply as well as industrial three phase electrical supplies. With features such as variable speed auger feed and a conditioning chamber it replicates the process of pellet machines used in industrial pellet plants.
"Customers of the PelHeat Mini Pellet Mill include multi national companies, national energy research institutions and several universities. With this product they can conduct experiments only previously possible with much larger pellet presses," said Chris Scott, owner of PelHeat.com.
The types of material PelHeat receive enquiries for range from wood, various grasses such as Switchgrass, Miscanthus and Hemp to animal feed products. Wood pellets currently hold the greatest interest for most clients, however the team at PelHeat believe that other biomass materials will play a more significant role in the future.
"Our clients see the potential in using their materials to meet the growing demand for renewable energy in the form of fuel pellets for pellet stoves and boilers. ‘Going green’ can mean additional income for their business and also a cheaper fuel for consumers," said Chris Scott, owner of PelHeat.com.
Beyond the mini pellet mill PelHeat also offer highly automated small pellet plants. These pellet plants can be setup to produce between 250-2,000 kg/h for wood pellets and higher productivities for other biomass materials and animal feeds.
"For a small pellet plant to be profitable it is very important to make the process as automated as possible to keep labour costs to a minimum. Our UK made pellet plants can be operated by just one person through a master control panel," said Chris Scott, owner of PelHeat.com.
If the price of fossil fuels continues to rise which is more than likely, alternative energy solutions such as wood pellets will continue to grow in market share. Also with incentive schemes such as forthcoming Renewable Heat Incentive there will be greater demand for fuel pellets. The solutions PelHeat offer can help more research organisations and small business explore pellet production on a small scale while maintaining a highly efficient process.
About PelHeat.com
In 2008 PelHeat produced one of the first mobile pellet machine prototypes. PelHeat now provide a range of high quality UK made small pellet mills and pellet plants to process a wide range of materials into pellets. They offer a material testing service and also provide a range of information on the process of how pellets are made and how to purchase fuel flexible pellet combustion systems such as pellet stoves and boilers.
